I was out on Rte 5 heading North through South Windsor today and it looks like CSO has worked the Armory branch recently cutting back some trees and bushes along right of way.

I was in Windsor today and saw CSO southbound toward HTFD and she had 4 engines and the fourth one was RED! Couldn't catch it to see any marks on it so not sure who is getting this engine? Anyone know?

Saw signals at Wintonbury ave crossing being worked on, gates also finally added to crossbucks. Great news for this stretch of track in Bloomfield CT.

I took a look at the Wethersfield line again yesterday, all MOW vehicles tied up in Rocky Hill by ferry. Ties spread to be put in out all the way to rte 15 bridge that crosses line in Wethersfield, Hartford line. I believe they will be back Tomorrow, more likely Thursday to continue work going North.

I look at the TRAINS webcam of BNSF and Union Pacific in Rochelle IL Webcam and I see where a switch is put in for BNSF to head West on UP line in the top left corner. Why can't P&W (G&W) put a switch in just like that one so railcars coming from Hartford can go directly to New Haven. I know...
