What's the current status of the Lawrence, MA yard? It's looking pretty empty these days so I'm wondering if it's still used/needed and what jobs might run out of that yard at all.

What's the deal with the VIA cars in Nashville near the old Union Depot?

In 2023 when Phase 1 of the South Coast Rail opens up, how is that going to to affect the already single line Old Colony Line? Hasn't there already been congestion issues? Come 2030 there is going to be 5 different lines sharing a single track between South Station and Braintree.

According to wikipedia, Metra still uses some cars that are so old they pre-date Amtrak. Which line would I need to ride to enjoy a ride in these cars?

Sorry if that has been covered but how often do trains run on any part of the Millis branch that branches off after Needham Junction.

I know a portion is being converted to a rail trail but doesn't the Framingham Secondary run through it?

What's the line that branches off to the east in Burlington, WA? It goes through Sedro-Woolley and begins to head north from there. It seems to meet up with two severed other ROW'S (One that continues east and another that heads south)

Can anyone give me a list of lines that branch off the BNSF main between Seattle and Portland. For the longest time I only thought it was the line east from Auburn and Vancouver.
