However, I could not figure out its route thru Hallsville and Starkville and Van Hornesville. I have it partially correct in OpenStreetMap here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/172946242 but not through Springfield Four Corners, which is the C&N. It's quite clear going east of Van Hornesville...

Thanks to a map in Jim Loudon's book The Cooperstown and Northern subtitled Otsego's Forgotten Railroad (includes a chapter on the Fort Plain & Richfield Springs Railroad), I was able to locate some of the Cooperstown & Northern grading. Here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1219429342 I e...

The LV bridge in Odessa has been removed. I found trolley rails in Lake Street in Elmira. Not strictly the Elmira Corning & Waverly but it was connected. They're so deeply buried that there aren't even cracks. I needed to use my metal detector (which lives in my car for exactly this use) to find...

I commissioned a BUILD#11 challenge coin for the WW&F. Apart from a speling erorr (my bad), it's quite beautiful. Feels very nice in your pocket, and who knows, it may save you from having to buy a round of drinks or do pushups. It's only $11 plus postage. https://giftshop.wwfry.org/product/chal...

In the end, I found an index I'd forgotten I had. The article on the Elizabethtown Terminal RR was in the third issue, Summer, 1970. It's not much of an article, but still worth sharing.E'town RR scan-reduced.pdf Thanks for this! Here is the route of the ETR: https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/...
