Bridge 107.7 in Lackawaxen is being rebuilt as we speak. All eastbound ties and walkway have been removed. New beams are being installed between east & west support beams. When all steel work is done the west bound track will be moved to center of bridge. All concrete to be repointed. Think what...

I was at a meeting 2 weeks ago and CSX is going to double track the river line from MP-87 to SK and from MP-35 to MP-41. They are getting new business to haul oil and gas.

The stick rail will be welded where sits,between MP-90 & MP-117 The power switchs are being reinstalled between MP-90 & MP-117. And by the way 1 year ago i said the trains were coming. As of today the number of trains has not been determed yet.and time frame keeps changeing. I will keep post...

Jersey City library had a collection of photos of the Bergen Archs when they were being constructed.I viewed them about 30 years ago.

The wreck happened in Fairlawn,NJ on july 7,1982. the passenger train ran into the Zerega pasta plant.Kids had threw the switch just about the time the train passed the signal that would have warned the crew.1 person was killed.
