Does anyone know if both sides of the new Pan Am boxcar repaints are the same? These: http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?20120 ... 517372.jpg

I know they did different logos on each side on cars in the past, wondering about these "new" ones. Thanks.

The AMT leaves from Lucien D'Allier Station at the Bell Center and as you noted has a varied schedule. A more expensive ($13.80 one way) way but with a lot more options to Dorval is the airport express ticket from Gare Centrale - same cost Dorval - Gare Centrale. Bonus is riding along the line into ...

St. Lambert station is a nice spot, VIA/AMT and CN trains. About 2 KM east is a grade crossing at the west end of Southwark Yard which isn't bad, and then the other end of Southwark has a pedestrian bridge right over the yard.

Dragon ships cement to a plant on the SLR in Quebec. My understanding from a railroad contact was that they did that to counter the Ciment Quebec expansion into New England. Most of Dragon's cement actually goes out via barge. Anyway it explains the SLR routing for some/most of the DPCX cars. SLR ha...

The motel is right next to Rumford Junction West, the turnout is right near the bridge. There is a grade crossing about 1/2 mile east (Hackett Road) and 1/2 mile west (Allied Road, looks like a driveway into Formed Fiber Tech and IP's box plant). Seems like only 1 or 2 trains run at night now throug...

Seeing these cars is kind of funny. Reason being is that PAR has been getting cars like these dropped at the siding next to Route 2 and Stetson Road in East Newport, ME. I don't think they are NS, but who knows. I don't have any pictures of them personally, but I'm thinking they are for the bridge ...

West of Dorval there are two spots with parallel bridges. Ste. Anne de Bellevue and Dorion. Ste. Anne has a nice walking path that goes along the canal lock under the bridges and you can eat and watch trains there.
