Needs to be numbered 6709 though to be authentic.
I would not bet on numbering , the Document is NOT amtrak . Looks like they will be the 300s, unless it's just for the rendering. Amtrak Five-Year Asset Line Plans Fiscal Years 2020–2025 (Base + Five-Year Strategic Plan) has anartist-rendering of one numbered 901 (page 36): - https://www.amtrak.com...
I'll be in Chicago August 9th-12th for the IRM Diesel Days event.
Whilst there, I want to catch 88 & 184 in revenue service, should they be assigned thus. Can anyone advise which divisions they're currently assigned?
TIA.
Any sign of the ex-NJT P40s making a return to service yet?
Also, can anyone confirm which, if any, of the other P40s aren't currently on the property?

Thanks!

Yes, 5 of the 6 GP39s are still used in revenue service (they were supposed to be re-powered, but that never happened). When they run solo, they usually pull only 3 to 4 cars. 68 still has its HEP generator, so it can pull revenue trains as well. Any idea which is no longer used, and is it availabl...
So, I've seen photos of 6694, 6695, 6698 in the new livery. 6699 reported as back from rebuild.
What's the current status of 6696 & 6697?
