How many of these cars are standard gauge and how many are narrow gauge?

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Denver and Rio Grande (1952). Loosely based on the battle beween the D&RG and a rival line (a Santa Fe subsidiary) building in the Royal Gorge. Famous for the head on collision between 2 C16 2-8-0s and the cars that they were pulling. They are the real t...

Hi Walter, Starting at Bath heading to Martin's Creek you have Nazareth, Stockertown, Uhlers, and Sandt's Eddy.

What the He- double hockey sticks. Those 'business men' should be tarred and feathered. Or to paraphrase South Park 'You scrapped an L&NE loco, YOU B@$T@RD$'.

After going to the train meet at Palmerton HS I took a drive east to Little Gap. Most of the track is still in place. One section, which you can see from the road, is missing a short piece of track. A little west of Little Gap the state replaced a bridge and cut the track at that spot, however they ...

I wish the folks on the D-L would take a look at the former DL&W HH that Relco has (had?). Either they or someone at Steamtown since it would fit in with the stuff they have there at the time period they are portraying.

Hi Allen, Yes the friction bearing trucks would have been a problem. I think SMS moved the AS616s they have by swaping the trucks around to move them to NJ. Of course the other option was move it by HD flatcar. Maybe they had looked at it and figured it wasn't worth the effort. Just wondering if the...

Keystone Cement has been adding a new kiln and the associated support buildings at the site of the old plant. They've even added a new stone conveyor over Rt.329. Apparently they are still shipping cement by rail as they also rebuilt the spur under one of the silos and I've seen cars spotted there a...

Miniatures by Eric has a very good D/B detail for RS's. It's part # R3, resistor grid for FA's but it works for the RS's also.

Where is SMS when you need them. Maybe they could have put her to good use, or at least as a parts source for they're Baldwins.

Another sad day for modelers both new and old. Dieter, you're right, I miss Varney and wish they never would have sold out to LifeLike. Some of my first BB kits were (and I still have these cars) PRR outside post 50' PD boxcar, SP 50' DD autoboxcar, National Dairy steel reefer, and Dupont chemical t...

I Recently saw photos of WM RS2 #180. When did they modify the cab area? I saw that the fuel fill is now located on the end of the cab wall instead of the normal side location. Also was the extra equipment box that is located in front of the firemans side of the cab added at the same time, and what ...

Has anyone seen these at there local hobbyshop? I ordered a set from Toy Train Heaven in early October. Called them in the beginning of December to see if they'd arrived yet (they hadn't). I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.
