Trash is a commodity that hauls all over its property. Long distance moves a well as local short turnaround moves.

If the dispatchers for a section of track join the strike, no train is moving on that section, passenger or not, unless railroad management has some non-union employees who can take over those responsibilities. Mistakes in the operating department rarely give one a opportunity to make a 2nd mistake.

So you are in FAVOR of more GRIDLOCK on both I-95 and I-66.

The Virginia model is to remove automobile traffic from those routes, the same as Virginia's efforts to enhance rail transportation to remove trucks from I-95, I-81 and I-85.

I could be mistaken - I think the 9500 series engines started life on the C&O and were migrated to the B&O in the early 70's.

Port of Baltimore has taken delivery of 4 new container crane at the Sea Girt Marine Terminal that will permit unloading post-panamax container vessels with up to 23 containers WIDE across the deck.

Cranes are anticipated to become operational in early 2022.
