You can see the plan for that crossing on page 30 of this document: http://www.amodernli.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/L...

Re: Putnam County Stations (Harlem and Hudson)

The Southeast station which he called a “regional hub” was described as being in “poor shape with difficulty in accessing the tracks since one must walk up to a half mile from the edge of the parking lot to arrive at the overpass. That walk did suck, especially when you notice that there used to be...

They fixed the article: Richard Andreski, Bureau Chief of Public Transportation from the Connecticut Department of Transportation, said the current Greenwich station serves 4,000 people per day. He added that the New Haven Line is the busiest rail line in the United States, with over 130,000 travele...

Re: Unnecessary Metro North Train Stations

No the reality is that you'd be using a monthly or weekly ticket and that you should get a parking permit for Cortlandt. With the 16 hour parking permit you'r paying under $1.75 per day to park there. At Croton-Harmon, there is a wait list for permits and they still cost almost three time as much fo...

Re: Railroads on Television

Amazing how Metro-North Hudson Line suddenly has M-7 cars liveried as Amtrak (surely post production), that Rouses Point has a high level platform and third rail electrification. The car interiors may or may not have been the real deal rather than a stage set - defer to sharper eyes on that one. I ...
