I never really understand how anyone ever gets hit by a train. It's on tracks. It's not coming after anyone! But then, people around New Canaan are, in fact, mostly plants.

It is unfortunate that in some (not all) ways Mr. Cameron's comments are true. As a ticket agent told me once all they do now is sell tickets, they are never told any more than passengers about delays, they can't issue refunds, they can't take complaints and pass them on. None of this I might add a...
There is no window in southeast but there is in brewster village, and it is moderately busy.
Well this sucks. I hate seeing machines take over anywhere, especially when its my job being taken over by a machine. But luckily I'm a ticket seller in a job no one wants, so I should be safe for a while! I would like to know why there was like 8 new ticket sellers hired in the last few months thou...
I'm a ticket seller on the new haven line.

Chappaqua-another classic old station. Poughkeepsie-second only to yonke...
As a ticket seller I have to say I HATE the ticket office at croton harmon. We call it the fish bowl because that's exactly what it is. I feel like I'm on display there because the whole office is a window....plus, unfortunately, I have to vote harmon as the station with the most dumb people due to ...
i worked in the ticket office all night, and we definately had some real nutcases...theyre easy to spot. they cut off the lines at the windows to ask for 50 different schedules, bike permits, student passes and anything else while wearing a pin for every railroad ever formed....but it was mostly jus...
ill be there too....working in the ticket office from 130 to 930 ....but at least i can probaly check it out before work!
well i agree with that. some ticket sellers are schmucks, and alot of the schmucks are old guys with 30 or 40 years of service who dont care at all what happens next. hastings is a case in point. the agent there has 39 years. <edited> . he tells people to use machines! alot of these older guys reall...
