NYNJ has another lokie at Jersey City # 2202. Haven't seen it personally, but its there with two switchers by the float bridge. The Port Jersey engine still is kept over on Port Jersey Blvd.

no. Havent been down there in a few years. I heard somewhere they scrapped the RS1, not sure if that is true.

502 still owned by NJT or did it transfer to South Jersey RailCorp. (light rail) some years back.

What. They all need some work. Water pump, traction motor, oil leaks, miscellaneous. Thats all I was saying.

Try Selkirk. Everything revolves around the black hole known as Selkirk.

IMO- the money to make these things runable, plus purchase price = refurbished 18 and 19 that run and dont owe nada :>)

And maybe add one something as a spare

Some of the fours ave the ends painted yellow and are being used in non revenue service. Not sure how many though.

Was wondering what the locomotive status was of late. Meaning what is out of service long term and such. 4020, 4515 had accident damage. 4014 was sitting in the same spot at MMC for quite some time. ALP44s are stored, F40s are stored somewhere, at least 3 P40s appeared stored at MMC. 4104, 4105, 411...

The car outside the fence (an exCNJ round roof 1300 series car) belongs to the Green Mountain Railroad as a parts supply several years ago.
The plant is in Holland Township, just above Milford, where generally the only crimes are escaping farm animals and a consistent dv couple.

They should be faded yellow and black, similar to W&W 1200 that was acquired out of the Atlantic Electric / Connectiv / etc etc plant at Deepwater.

One was an NW2. The other may be the NW2 that was at Deepwater or another unit entirely. I'm not sure.
