Hi Folks, Just a similar circumstance in aviation - the mayor of Chicago illegally ordered the destruction of an active airport that was bulldozed under the cover of darkness (the big X’s gouged through the runway) - even stranding aircraft at the airport - completely in violation of Federal Law - n...

Nice- I hadn't seen the finished product. Great work. All you need now is the 80 class, 70 class, and a camelback or two. (Just kidding- I know how much work is involved...) Hi Marty, LOL - already have the 80's roughed out - basically just a USRA with an extra compressor and feedwater heater... Fo...

Hi... Happy to help... Yeah - I stumbled across these the other night and they are by far the best I've seen of this railroad - truly the mother load - I grew up a couple miles from the bridge that Ridge Road used to cross the ROW (well after the age of steam) - between Campbell Hall a Craigville......

Hi Folks, Question - I know the B&M had named steam locomotives from a competition among school children - great marketing ploy - I believe this was just on the Mountains and Pacifics - while I can readily find the names used - would anyone know of the source for the full text on each sign ? I b...

Years ago, a group of Boston-area live steamers were working on a joint project to build several K-8 models. There are a couple of commercial parts presently available which I think came out of that, and I know one engine had frame & drivers. I will ask my contact. Hi... Thanks for the interest...

Hi Arthur, Thanks so much for your response as well... I think the book may have what I need - I just need some basic dimensions and the shape of the boiler... While the best case scenario has me finding a decent set of plans - typically - when I'm building a model - with the aforementioned dimensio...
