A new M5 fleet is probably a number of years - perhaps decades - away along with a very high price tag. After living through the "can we squeeze another year out of the Brills?" era of the P&W, that's a scary thought. Yeah, but it's 21st century. What with automatic train control and ...

So? Newark is only 11 miles away from Wilmington. And the distance between Paoli to Exton is only about eight miles. Amtrak doesn't have to stop at Claymont *all* the time...

My big complaint about the kiosks is that not every one is programmed the same. You want a trailpass (weekly or monthly)? You have to actually go to a working machine at one of the three center city rail stations. The way the agency keeps touting the key as a "one size fits all" card is pr...

Went to Frankford yesterday to get October Zone 1 "Legacy" Pass. I almost reluctantly had my zone 1 pass loaded onto my key card, but I specifically wanted a "Legacy" pass. Also, it appears transit hubs/terminals like Frankford, Olney, 69th, Chester TC, and Norristown have Key Fa...

According to the SEPTA website provides station info ( https://septa.org/stations/rail/exton.html ), all 555 daily parking spots are pretty guaranteed to be taken on typical weekday basis. Keep in mind, there's currently some station improvements/ongoing construction which includes building a brand ...

Current NHSL schedule only has a smattering of Limited and Express runs due to construction of the station at Ithan Ave (near Villanova Stadium) and other trackwork up and down the line. You can apply for a Senior Key at most/all local representatives' offices. The yuge "BUT" is that you can't get the card on the spot, it can take weeks to arrive by mail - mine was a month and a half. Does anyone know if the local politician office gives out anything equivalent to the pap...
