I thoght i had seen one in claremont NH at the junction. sitting way in the back on an abandoned section of track. I aslo think there is one in Bellows falls VT/Walpole nh at the Green mountain repair facility ( the former home of Steamtown usa)

Claremont Railway and Lighting company in Claremont NH. Car Barn #1 still standing on Layfayette St. 1903. Also the electric plant behind the car bar is still there.

I forgot to mention, all of the information I can find dates the Claremont Railway and lighting Company car barn to 1903

Claremont Railway and Lighting Company car barn #1 is still standing on Layfayette st. in Claremont NH. The second car barn was to the right and behind car barn #1. although all the tracks have been removed from the front of the building, most of the building remains unchanged. Thanks to everyone who posted. I found a little book on the rail road with the complete history behind it, on the first page I there was a picture of my great grandfather standing in front of the car barn. I will try to scan it and post the contents for all to enjoy

I have confirmed that the Claremont railway and Lighting Company car house is located on Lafayette St. in Claremont NH. The building is still standing and appears to be in original condition. I am unsure of who owns it now, but plan to find out in an attempt to gain access to it.

Paul, thanks for posting the photo, i just couldn't upload it. It looks great. The badge was made in Boston, MA. After looking at the hallmark it appears to be made by R. Woodman? Thanks again

I believe I have located the Claremont Railway and lighting Company Car House. I drove down Lafayette St. today, and noticed a building with four bays that looks alomost identical to the pictures in the eariler post.
