Why are some light rail systems not covered under Railroad Retirement?
Patrick,
The modified schedule is being run M-F until at least April, possibly longer based on the construction being performed north of Roebling.
Saturday is a normal Saturday schedule.
Sunday is a normal Sunday schedule.
Holidays are run as a normal Sunday schedule.
Haha. Cruiser is rough
Does anyone hve an official rundown of what a 15 point inspection details when performing a brake test on frieght cars?
it seems like a smart move to at the very least create an island platform between two tracks. I'm going to disagree. Double tracks aren't needed at this location to meet the train's required headways. Additionally, some form of vertical connection will be required to transfer - it's going to be saf...
I have lately noticed a corner property about a block from the Palmyra station with 2 lawn signs 'Mute the Toot'.

There are two different certifications on the RiverLine, one to operate and an LRV, which is in conformity with 49 CFR Part 240, and the second to operate the freight portion. The two are referred to as Operators and of course Engineers. The operators are trained on the SNJLRTS rules. The orange dis...
The 502 won't be moving from Haines yard, located just nort of Rt. 73, any time soon. The JTFS 9276 is and will continue performing all of the work train duties for the RiverLine.
My understanding is that the 502 is beyond repair...sorry
