1070 is on its way home…. in regular paint. Spotted on railcam.
Probably 1031.
1053 is on her way home. Was seen on the Fairport Junction railcam on Tuesday evening.

That’s a view from the other side of 128 from the radio towers facing towards Needham Heights.
Is 1118 and 1132 getting the overhaul or will they be scrapped? I saw a video recently of them sitting in the dead line in Rochester (the poster said he had permission to be there but who knows) with the F40s before they sold at auction and those two Geeps looked really rough.
What is the "market penetration" (percent of adults 22-65) in Needham who take the train? And as compared to surrounding towns... I took the 6:40 AM train every weekday pre-Covid and usually we were jam packed by the time we left Hersey. Haven’t taken it since, but I’m sure that it’s not ...
Covid.
It's an image thing! If you see a clean engine and cars, you feel better about the service. If you see a dirty train, you think to yourself "they don't care about their equipment, why would they care about the riders?"
I know that 2 Bombardier cabs operated down south last summer (1645 and 1636 I believe). Was that a test?

According to NETransit, 533 is ex 1503.
So what's going on with the rebuild program? Is MPI still shut down? Anything on it's way back to MA or headed to MPI?
1722 is back today. It’ll be on train 917 (5:12 to Stoughton).
