All kinds of trouble with flooding on the Newburyport / Rockport line today. Saw some posts online about how a inbound train was turned around earlier today due to flooding. This person said they got on at beverly and was trying to get into Boston. They ended back up at Beverly. Currently seeing tha...

How rare are the 1700's on the North Side these days. I only come into the office once or so a month these days, but I said my first 1700 in over 4 years on the Northside tonight. And not just one, three of them at North station. 1724 was on Track 1 for the Rockport train I took to Salem. 1701 and 1...

An Orange Line train passenger jumped off a bridge and into the Mystic River and dozens of other passengers evacuated through windows of the MBTA train after it caught on fire on a bridge in Somerville, Massachusetts.

All Haverhill Line trains will make additional stops at Oak Grove station until further notice to accommodate Orange Line passengers.
Commuter Rail trains can stop at Oak Grove? I didn't realize there was a connection to the Haverhill Line.

Sweet. Glad to see the new coaches. I wasn't expecting them so soon. I thought 2024 or something like that.

I'm sure they need to to do some testing before they are put into service. But do we expect them to be in service by fall?

Newburyport/Rockport Line trains are experiencing significant delays due to a low speed upright derailment near Beverly. Buses will operate up to North Beverly/Montserrat for a train connection to Newburyport/Rockport.

Looks like we have a derailment today.

Anyone know what's going on with the Newburyport/Rockport Line? I'm commuting into the office for the first time since Covid started tomorrow when looking up the train schedule online schedule shows no North Station or Chelsea stops and lists Orient Heights via Shuttle Bus as the end of the line. Were all the photos in the auction listing really taken back in 2006? If so I'm surprised how rough 1504 looks. What is it's history?

The answer is yes, you can add a 1-day link pass or a weekly pass to a Charlie Card at the vending machines. Though it didn't work for me with my existing Charlie Card. It was cancelled for "inactivity" and told me to contact customer support when I tapped it. Damn covid, haven't used the ...

Heading into Boston tonight,

Can you load a 1 Day Pass on a Charlie Card these days, or is it still only limited to the Monthly Pass.

I have my Charlie Card still hanging around and ready to use if I can put a day pass on it verses getting the paper ticket with the magnetic strip.

So, what's the issue at hand here they are actually complaining about.

I couldn't tell whether the grade crossing was removed or just raised. Then at the very end it talks about GU not providing proper drainage causing damage to their property.

Only all MBB set I have seen in years.

Though I did see one close to it in Salem a couple years back. 15xx - 6xx - 5xx - 5xx. Talk about lo capacity standing room only train.
