Perhaps an unfortunate side effect of the error/era when adult women were lumped together with children in the perception by men in power as being "frail and naive?" Who knows what mischief those ladies may have caused if they made their way into a box car on those mixed freights? (sarcasm)

Long Beach container ships stranded in ports, Amazon warehouses frequently not serviced by rail and trucker shortage, lack of communication with shipping chain and Covid's effect on labor. Is there a way out of this mess?

And whether it's Amtrak, public highways, the military or public schools slowly sucked dry by private charter schools, the trend toward contracting out to private companies is not always frugal and frequently a big source of these chronic over budget scenarios...

And Baker's poison pill idea that then Governor Weld initiated, dumped 1.7 billion of Big Dig debt into the MBTA's budget. Spin it any way you want, it has not helped the T's financial stability then or now. Move that debt from the T to the state lottery or another more financially robust state agen...

So this bridge is on the mainline.. In which case this sounds like extortion, at the expense LIRR ticket buyers and state taxpayers, all to be poured into one of the richest whitest communities on Long Island. Sounds similar to the "old money" town of Hingham Ma and their extortion of the...

Perhaps the G&U's alleged purchase of 13 former MBTA F-40's presages a longshot interest in Pam An. Of course they would need to convert them into freight locos...
