The Silverliner III's, as well as the Silverliner II's, have been retired from service since June 2012. Most of them are scrapped, so obviously, they will never come back to service again.

My dad, while commuting into Center City, saw a set of V's headed for the destination of Newark. He said 708 was one of cars on the train.

You make a lot of good points about the schedules and the system being safe. I do agree that the technology has slowed down trains. I too would like to see the old timetables as well.

Did you get car numbers by any chance? We already know the aforementioned 805-806, 726 and 716, but curious myself to find out the others.
I assume most likely that they will be cleaned off, not only those but a couple of Silverliner IV's and push-pull trailers/cab cars were hit as well.
