On railpictures.net I saw a picture of the first P&W engine to be painted into G&W. At least we'll get to see widecabs and maybe passenger cars in the G&W scheme.

I watched a video of the Huntsville and Madison County railroad and they appeared to be using ex-S&NC 8524, which was the GE standard cab they had. I don't know if it was sold or leased.
It would be cool if they made this spur into something like the Astoria Riverfront Trolley. Someone could buy the line, build a short platform near the papermill, and buy an old PCC car or something, put a generator in it or a small diesel engine, and just run it from the mill to the interchange yar...
I saw a set of SLV's on the Norristown line 2 days ago, I didn't see how many there were or their numbers as I just got a glimpse of them. But anyway now we know that they are running there.

I was looking at the map so that may account for the discrepancy, especially since the map dates back to when WC Hazleton was independent.
Also, it looks like they serve Office Depot, First Quality Nonwovens, Freedom Corrugated, Graham Packaging, Pretium Packaging, and Worldcolor Hazleton. I don't think that Pro Con is an active shipper, but I might have missed something. I have that same issue, I usually buy a magazine on sight if it ...
I just emailed them for pictures of the new MP15's. Hopefully they will respond soon.
Yeah, that was one of the other thing I thought it could be, but I didn't post it for some reason. I wonder if NS will sell off the engines, scrap them, or use them on CSAO. I think there's a decent market for newer switchers since no locomotive builders make them except for the rebuilding companies...
Since the Venice Island branch in Philadelphia needs a SW1001 or similar size locomotive to work it, one of the reasons that NS would lease it to East Penn Railroad might be becuase they've gotten rid of all their SW1001's. Does anyone know why the ESPN has leased this branch, and the current state ...
