The current Empire schedule is close to what it was before COVID all the trains and turns have returned. Ohh but wait don't get use to it. There will be some sort of schedule modification coming up in late summer due to a 18 month to 2 year project in Penn. I keep hearing a 25% loss of trains possi...

What happened to Amtrak's website's printer friendliness for schedules?

So I'm looking up WIL to EWR service for a certain day this coming summer, see train times, but I don't see a print button (unless I'm looking in the wrong place). I was able to print a schedule for that day back in December (print friendly style) but I don't see the print button now.

What happened?

According to Wikipedia Claymont to Newark is ~35 miles--considering the size of Delaware, more than a tiptoe. Chestnut Hill West to Fox Chase via Center City is less than that. All this rebranding lately suggests more graft (consulting fees) for marketing firms. Maryland MTA rebranded its system as BaltimoreLink and the Baltimore Metro as "Subway Link". Pittsburgh did it too, going from PATransit to Pittsburgh Regional Transit. Back in SEPTAland, the Norristown ...

Septa commuter rail serves 3 states. Into one of which, the two lines entering it barely tiptoe before terminating. Septa has sold naming rights for stations to local health systems and also a local convenience store. And one of its subway stations is sponsored by an energy company. The previous sp...

What's going on, Mr. Wrinn? DPW must be wincing in his grave.
