bar loco's

I was hoping to find info on where all the gp38's,gp9's,gp35's,f40's,gp7u's, and the gp7's went im interested in who owns them now and where they are im planning to write a book on it.

but they were in better condition and I know when I worked there the gp7's we got of the atsf were dash 2 standards.

correct me if im wrong but don't they have only 3 other roads aka 1 in the u.s. and 2 over seas and this was there main road and they were stupid to sell it aka letting all there motive power go for auction for dimes, and hey should have kept the bar power which somewhat newer and were in better sha...

last I heard her and the 5017 and a ballest regulator were being stored in the paint both I rode on her a lot when I started on the bar.

lets hope some day they run freight again and they could make a rail and a trail like in ellsworth they could have made a smaller sea port like Searsport in Belfast.

I love this railroad I have tried contacting them about 2 bar cars down in Hyannis mass which are going to be scrapped but to no avail I just don't want to see them as razor blades.

I don't think woodland is shipping much but par runs a switcher daily aka 1 loco to oldtown with about 10-12 cars just high cubes.

ok thanks! when I worked on the bar I remember seeing lots of them in nmj and the place I do see them now is in fl on Florida sugar, but doesn't the aa have all gp39-2's? lets hope someday big business will come and will need a bigger loco and lets hope and pray the aa will sell it.~ thanks vern
