I live in Collegeville & can confirm MACTRAXX's comments about Norristown TC being the closest location to Collegeville to purchase Key Cards & legacy Independence Passes. North Wales (my home station, on the Lansdale-Doylestown Line) also has a staffed ticket office, & would be about th...

I have successfully purchased tickets for NJT's #126 bus (Hoboken-NY Port Authority Bus Terminal) at the NJT ticket machine at 30th Street Station.

Basically, Key will only allow one CURRENTLY VALID pass at a time to be loaded onto a card. As everyone has mentioned, you can extend a specific weekly or monthly pass type in person, on the app, or at a kiosk-as long as that pass type is currently valid & is loaded on the catd. However, at leas...

How would the $3.75 extension of journey extra fare be charged, if the passenger has a valid TrailPass loaded on his/her Key Card, but has insufficient funds in the Travel Wallet?

Any transfer of at least the entire Broad Street Subway system, as well as least the Frankford side of the Market-Frankford Line, to DRPA would need City of Philadelphia involvement; as the City is the actual owner, not SEPTA.

My big complaint about the kiosks is that not every one is programmed the same. You want a trailpass (weekly or monthly)? You have to actually go to a working machine at one of the three center city rail stations. The way the agency keeps touting the key as a "one size fits all" card is p...

Also, although not likely you'll see one on the 15 anytime soon, the Kawasaki LRVs would be 9000-9111.

Anything in the 3000's would also be a bus (New Flyer Xcelsior)

And the locations of some of those external Key sales outlets are utterly baffling. There are over 10 outlets in Mercer County, NJ (none of them the Trenton train station), over 20 outlets in New Castle County, DE (none of them at any train station), & even one in Newark, NEW JERSEY! But not a s...

SEPTA is still mum as to whether new Key Cards will be available at staffed outlying Regional Rail ticket offices or not. If they are not, there will be quite a few irate riders on Monday, August 12th if they are not able to buy their weekly passes at their home stations. SEPTA's Key buy/load locato...

With the upcoming phaseout of paper "legacy" Weekly TrailPasses slated to begin in only a couple of weeks, has SEPTA made the Key cards available for sale at any outlying Regional Rail ticket offices? I have mentioned to several fellow daily Lansdale-Doylestown Line riders, that the weekly...

When phoning the SEPTA Key customer service line (855-567-3782), there is no PROMPT for an option to speak to a live agent. But, if you press "1" for English, then listen to the entire menu, THEN press "0", the system WILL transfer you to an agent. Or, if you don't press ANY butt...

Agree that the Family Independence Pass would have saved a lot of trouble. But, try to put yourself in the place of the letter writer, who likely has not recently used SEPTA at all, for a second. He likely would not even have known that such a thing as an Independence Pass even exists, let along wha...

Also used another Independence Pass this AM (Thursday 6/7) on Train 6593 again without problem. The interesting thing with using an Independence Pass on AM Peak trains is that using one, it's actually CHEAPER ($13.00 - whether bought at a ticket office or on the train) for a daytime round trip from/...

I was able to use an Independence Pass during the AM peak hour on Train 6593 (departed North Wales at 7:07a) on Tuesday (6/4/19) with no problem.

On transit (Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line) Key deducts 2.00 from a rider's Travel Wallet (stored value) or, if loaded with a pass, one ride from the allotted 56 for weekly, or 244 (+ or - ) from a monthly pass. On Regional Rail, at present, only Key cards with loaded passes are valid, so ...
