Is it true that hunter will instruct train crews to write up railfans filming or taking pictures of csx trains? it's not high school. He can write up the fans all he wants, but if they remember to stay off the property when filming, he can't do anything. Also I would assume this is at the bottom of...

Another Tuckahoe run for 51 yesterday as they came up after 830 last evening with their usual empties and a small cut of tanks. I only saw the second unit which was 5221. This I believe is 3 trips down there in the last week.

Word has gotten around that there's a switch at the plant that needs to be fixed before the train can go in the plant. Haven't heard if the switch has been fixed yet, but I was told the train is still parked at Altoona awaiting the switch repairs. We shall see.....

Another Tuckahoe trip for CA-51. They are heading thru Magnolia as I type this with NS 3026/3013 and 18 cars evenly divided between the regular stuff (one centerbeam and 8 boxcars) and tanks.

I don't like to be like this but I suspect this whole 502 thing is a hoax. Given the local populatarity of this train, not a word has been said for days now which is highly unusual for this train. Again, just my opinion.

You're talking about the one directly south of the Del. Mem. Bridge? I didn't realize the conversion never happened. Just know that sometime in the last several years the pile of coal next to it got smaller and smaller, and then one day very recently they tore up the storage pad and conveyor. I won...

From what I was told today, the 502 is still in Altoona unless anyone has heard otherwise.

This is the end of the line for the daily CA-11 and occasional nighttime NS coal run (normally NS506). The adjacent Carneys Point Generating Station receives coal hoppers, which it burns to produce electricity and steam for the chemical plant next door. As far as I know trains no longer cross the S...

CA-51 came back up from Tuckahoe last evening with a very good sized train including a long string of tanks that were in storage down there.

As seen on a Facebook post, it ran very early Saturday morning. As with a lot of stuff going on anymore, the poster admitted he kept it to himself when it was going on (which he told SE Pa in his post). Which we all know it was payback to the other members for them not telling him about the move mad...

Yeah I hear you. Some of these Railfans act nuts when it comes to stuff like this. If people would all help each other out and not be a bunch of idiots this whole hobby would be a lot better. SE Pa- you have no idea how out of control it's become. I left all of this area's groups because of it. Too...

Actually since it's been almost a year since the last train, they would have to shine the rails all the way to the plant as they have done in the past. I did not see 51 that evening they returned from Tuck so I don't know if they brought back stored cars or not. Also keep in mind a lot of the local ...
