313 was at iron horse with no cars around 5:30 on Thursday. There was a lone boxcar at Tighe in Winchester. Tighe in Woburn has had thier whole spur full recently.
One boxcar set out at aAtlantic plywood today and a 4 center beam loads at iron horse with a gp40. Didn’t catch the number but it was 345 which was behind BET.
Iron hours has been busy the past few morning start Thursday last week. Long strings of empty center beams and box cars. This is the most consecutive active I have seen there in 2 years. Business must be good.
There was a high but not so wide load of large steel plates (girders?) on a string of flat cars with a box car spacer parked at Anderson/Woburn this morning.
Saw 503 with a long cut of box cars on the lead to Iron Horse around 7pm.
Box car is gone. It was likely cut up.
Haven’t posted in a while since nothing interesting to report. Today I noticed that D&H boxcar next to the Wilmington cold storage spur is off its trucks and fouling the row. Big excavator on site.
Not the ones I have seen. They just push from the top end of the cars

Atlantic plywood has on car spotted this morning. Transformer load just north of Anderson Worburn being unloaded by crane with two hopper cars as buffers. Usual amount of boxcars at Tighe in Winchester. Pan am 307 and 345 behind BET. There is also some siding work happening behind one of the warehou...
Commuter rail is now shifted over as of this morning to accommodate the bridge rebuilding. Also appears some demolition work has beefun at one of the future station sites.
I saw two cars spotted at Atlantic plywood on Thursday. There have been more cars in montvale because of all the work for the glx.
307 passed through North Billerica station about 7am this morning with about 10 boxcars headed toward Lowell.
Do we happen to know yet whether they will be using concrete sleepers or wooden ones on the GLX? As we speculate on whether today's commuter rail tracks could become the future GLX tracks 1 limiting question could be as simple as the weight of the rail and the choice of sleeper material. So far it ...
