All of the equipment on Capitals side is removed, the ROW on that side is completely cleared of trucks / trailers and the other junk thats been sitting there, it's still under water, but all the junk is cleared off. On the Atlantic side, looks like ...

There is a Pan-Am work crew on the tracks right now behind the hotel. 4 workers wearing Pan-Am safety vests and one lawnmower. So far they are just clearing tracks again, and no heavy equipment has been dropped.

Other abutters to the branch havn't shown interest in receiving goods or sending them out by rail. Yet. There are quite a few import/export compaines right there that move, load and un-load intermodel containers, and there has been some conversations among them about this. So far it's been a wait a...

Thank you for correction on the proper name, I've updated the subject title to show it.

I know you can't see in the pictures, but it still has most of the metal rods hanging down, they are just real thin and did not show up on those photos. I will get better pictures this weekend.

Not sure if this correct forum for this, if not please move it. I live next to some of the old B&M row in Southern New Hampshire, this part is now owned by the state and has been rumored to be converted to rail train for quite a few years. I’m not a huge rail fan, but am in the transportation bu...

Some activity on the ROW next to Global and behind the hotel, earlier this week there was a crew out inspecting the seawall, this morning a survey crew was up and down the tracks a few times and this afternoon a pack of suits walked the ROW. Not much but first time we have seen an real activity this...

No action on tracks since survey crew a few weeks back and they ended up spending more time in Global’s yard, and the equipment company off of Railroad Ave started putting their dead trucks and equipment back in the ROW.

I have no new official information either, and can only speak to the lack of activity on tracks from Railroad Ave south thru to Global terminal, as I see them every day. In early August the clean up crew did a bunch of work clearing brush and debris off the tracks, they worked for about 2 or 3 weeks...

Yeah we have not seen the crew around in over a week, started off real fast and got a lot cleaned up, but then seemed to leave just as fast.
