Thanks! I found the mound you mentioned! There are several paths leading to the top that are created by railfans.
The Commissioner St. overpass is fantastic too!

(Times are a bit fast so you won't miss them) Northbound: 10:30 AM 9:30 PM Southbound: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM Amtrak 510 (Dash 8-32BWH) has been substituting for the P42DCs that usually pinch hit for the F59PHIs a lot recently, which is somewhat rare. Hopefully you'll catch it. I was on Amtrak Cascades 51...

Thanks for the Commissioner St. overpass! I saw it's easily accessible by trolleybus route 4! I saw there's another overpass (Main St. overpass) near CRAB park. Also, is it possible to see Rocky Mountaineer trains? A good place to watch WCE action is New Brighton Park, and the Commissioner Street ov...

That's great information. Is The Canadian also sitting in Pacific Central Station on Mondays? (It leaves VAC on Tuesday) The WCE does not go to New Westminster Quay and cannot be seen anywhere near New Westminster. The trains sleep in Mission, which is not accessible by convenient transit save for t...

I'm also visiting Vancouver next week for a whole week. I was planning Monday (8/3) for a railfan day, but unfortunately I just found out that Monday is BC day and no WCE trains run on that day. I'm wondering besides New Westminster Quay, is there any other places to watch WCE? If WCE doesn't run, w...

I'm also looking for advice for Vancouver BC railfaning.
I saw couple of videos on Youtube. Many videos were shot along the parks not far from WCE's Waterfront Station.

I'm moving to Corvallis, OR next week. I know that Portland & Western Railroad runs in the middle of Corvallis. But is there anyone knows the approximate schedule of P&W, or at least which time of day is the busiest to see those trains in Corvallis?

I just arrived in Seattle, WA and will stay here for about 2 months. I'm wondering if there are any good spots for railfans in Seattle, Everett, Bellevue, and Tacoma area. I just went to Olympic Sculpture Park and King Street Station area. They are both great spots, but the majority of the traffic a...

It seems that most dummy HO locomotives have plastic wheels. I'd like to replace the plastic wheel with metal ones. Does anyone know if there are metal wheel parts for dummy engines? Thanks.
