I am looking for the end date for roof walks on boxcars for both the U.S. and Canada? Did the walkway need to be completely removed by that date or were crews instructed not to use them?

When they are using the R/C platform do they use the whole consist or is just the lead unit under load?

Were these units formerly painted grey and used in Conrail's Ballast Express service?
Only two tanks on the engineers side of the units so no air start on the D&M/LSRC units. This has proven to be a very interesting thread.
