Has there been any talk about CSX purchasing the GE Transportation Erie plant. Rumors are saying theat. CSX is looking to open a rebuild and service plant and Erie's plant was the one in question. Any comments?
Boy... that there Texas GE plant will be sweating soon. EMD's tier 4 soon to be Rowling down the tracks.
Now we know that GE Solution's the Fort worth plant is the #1 builder for domestic locos. The Erie plant has now been proclaimed as the Export producing plant. Having said that. Erie will see more business as soon as moneys are released for new orders. What is your opinion?
Is there any information on how production is going in Fort Worth? WE know it will take time to get up to speed. Was told FW should be able to assm 6 to 10 a week in the near future.
