All I spotted 19 at the Delaware water gap in front of the tower . To make things more interesting, she was dropped of by a Union Pacific engine (and a NS). After the drop, the pair went towards Scranton which is not what I expected. Too bad my phone died or I would have posted some pix. Possibly sh...

If my sources are correct the line may soon see more traffic. Apparently, a pharma company along that line is stepping up production and will need carloads of sugar.

The station is not big enough, possibly it may have fit it on the other side where the River line originally connected( its now a parking ...

on Monday 10/17 I was getting my hair cut in Flanders and I noticed the distinct wheel squeaking. Here comes 2 alcos (17 & 18?) across the bridge. Followed by 3 covers hoppers and a long string of tank cars. I assume they are shuffling the tank cars around due to the issues near Morristown. Any ...

The train had a recorded for sure. By now investigators know exactly how fast the unit was going and many other key data points.

How soon before we get some details?

Looks like the FRA has thrown NJT under the bus...

With all the innovation around self driving cars, trains could be next. In some sense Trains may be easier to automate as they are on a fixed trajectory.

Several other "experts" on other networks were saying the same, apparently unaware of the concept of push pull trains, or that a train in push mode wouldn't have the engineer in the trailing engine. Some of those folks are aviation safety people who are "transportation analysts"...

All because of the regulations designed to shut the private sector out. Dictated unconstitutionally from the executive branch of the federal government, to boot. WOW, $9 parking at SEC. And the NJT fare can't be more than 5 or so. Now that the PA fascists have the toll up to 15, that seems like a great alternative.

I did not know that you could actually drive up to SEC and park ( or drive up to SEC at all).

The parking lot in Harrison is next to the PATH, although you will have to change trains in Jersey City to get to 33d st or WTC. Parking in Harrison is over $20 per day, similar to the cost in the city. It's not too bad to Harrison off the turnpike for example but, Metro-Park is closer to your route...

That side of the Y went behind the Grocery Store and across Indian Lake. Then it parallels Route 46 before crossing under a bridge and continues on to the Rt.46 Rockaway River bridge where it now runs under the abutment. It continues on paralleling the M&E trackage and through a parking lot and ...

The company that sold all the defective ties to all of these government agencies is no longer around... Humm.... I think we are back to the corruption issue.
