As an update, the Safety Car Air Conditioning System has been restored to service with minimal work needed. Another testament to the way this Country used to build things. The system works well, but does have a tendency to get overwhelmed in the afternoon sun with heat load on the car.

BSRM equipment will be moving on Sunday, November 16th over the B&A to SPG then handed off to Pan Am at SPG and up the Connecticut River Line. Follow the move on BSRM's Facebook Page and get your cameras ready.

Yes, ex-PRR B-60 Baggage Car #9034 has been generously donated by CSX Transportation to BSRM. More details will be announced in the future via BSRM's Facebook Page(s). If anyone can catch photos of 9034 or RDC 6126 in transit, BSRM would appreciate it.

It's in solid shape. We removed all the brake system valves and cylinders for rebuild. We also removed the drive shafts for transit. Next step is to re-install the rebuilt brake components and perform a brake test. The car will then be ready for inspection by the carrier and hopefully scheduled for ...

At this time the plan is to operate the car on the Adams Branch as part of the new Hoosac Valley Service. No scheduled date for movement yet.
