Rode 54/57 AMM-SPG-AMM. Quite a sendoff. Lots of fans at Amherst and Palmer. If I heard one of the crew correct, he said he was on the inaugural run to AMM back in the 80's.

So excited that this is about to finally be a reality. Also foaming out and taking the last Vermonter out of Amherst on the 28th. Any word on test trains today or Sunday?

Have they made it to Holyoke yet, or crossed the river in to Chicopee? I spent most of the afternoon on Sunday down by trackside. The CWR and Pandrol clips are installed as far south as Gatehouse Road. The NS crew is skipping the portion of Holyoke between Gatehouse Road and the river for the time ...

My cousin who hails from Cambridge, calls Northampton the "People's Republic of Cambridge of Western MA"... :( Entirely accurate. Sadly. Also, if they're already down in Northampton, I'm guessing they'll be in Holyoke and Chicopee soon? Will definitely have to catch them when they roll th...

Looks like a 2nd grade crossing accident in less than 24 hours. 490, running cab car forward struck a bucket truck. Two injuries reported.

Caught them Wednesday afternoon clearing brush, as well as PLED right behind longer northbound train by PCA (ED-1?)
Store is looking good. LOTS of inventory. Picked up a bunch of goodies last weekend.
Couple prefab turnouts on the Chicopee/Springfield city line.
Walthers lists the RDC kit as in stock. I've installed two. They're not difficult kits as long as your handy with a rotary tool.
Dang! Wish I saw this a few hours ago. Had some time to kill this afternoon. Would have loved one last trip there.
