Still waiting on a PRSL heritage unit.
I actually remember being a young kid in the 80’s being on one of the Coast Line NYE trains. Someone lit off a couple packs of firecrackers in our car among other things. It was a pretty savage trip. Glad I survived
IMO...DO IT ONCE...DO IT RIGHT. By the time they finish piecing things together they'll be right back at square one..
Will they ever build a connection to Atlantic City International Airport? The line runs right next to it, and would certainly bring far more business to both entities. Id be totally for this however imho the best way to do this would be to divert from the line west (RR North I believe) of airport t...
I don't mean to kick a dead horse but we should be thinking of a way to route all these rail lines through Camden and under or over the Delaware via 1 carrier with all lines running 1 type of equipment. Instead what we have is 1 heavy rail line that adds 30-45 min to jog north into cherry hill, Penn...
This would be awesome if it were on the radar. ON the eastern end you will most definitely get pushback from nimbys in Moorestown just as when a light rail option to Mt. Holly was being discussed prior to the Riverline being approved.
@Bracdude 181.. Just to confirm.. Are you saying that those cars backed over where the rail was pulled?? Sorry.. Just catching up on this.
Corbett comes off as an individual imho who has never had experience with public transportation in his life prior to his appointment at NJT. Also seems to lack knowledge of his organizations day to day operations and the state in which said organization operates in. What NJT needs is new energy at t...
With Beeslys Point no longer getting coal delivered I’m curious as to if abandonment is on the table. Does anyone know as to if any industry receives delivery south of winslow?
I think those are great ideas but we’ve got to find a better way to funnel these trains into center city quicker. Not sure how much more time we can milk out of the delair bridge. We and/or they should be working with Patco to look towards the future and find a faster more direct way to funnel rail ...
I’m just going to leave this here..

NJ Transit is Desperately throwing spaghetti at the wall at this point. The sooner they realize we aren’t stupid the better. It is making their whole transparency campaign look like a tremendous joke. It will backfire terribly.
If that was the case then how are any of the other NJ Transit Lines running without FRA approval? The only difference between the ACL and any other NJ Transit lines is that Service is under suspension which to the best of my knowledge never has created the need for FRA approval to reinstate service ...
I’m not sure I understand how reinstating service on the ACL requires FRA approval. The decision to bustitute was made by NJ Transit due to whatever the reason is this week.. Since I’m an idiot can someone please clarify exactly what approval NJ Transit requires from the FRA to run trains on the ACL...
Petition started floating around on change.org earlier today regarding the ACL and already has over 400 signatures. The author did not mince words slamming green and NJT. That author is also an employee of NBC and an old friend to railroad.net. It’s a great read if you get a chance.
