Last time I had to deal with it, I took the 108 bus. PATH was flooded by passengers, while the bus lanes and the bus itself were half empty. Made a few stops in Union City, but had a great trip otherwise.

I can't believe some of the self-righteousness on display here. I have been a pedestrian, and not by choice, for many years, so I took the train from my local station (Morristown at the time my original question was posted) because I had to. Now that I can drive, it's like a whole new world is open ...
Thanks. I ended up parking there with valet. No problems with the car. No problems with the parking space. Major problem with the price, but I guess you can't have everything
How full is the parking lot at Secaucus these days. Am I safe parking there in the middle of the day or would it be completely full?
Thanks
I have reason to be in the WTC area during the day on a weekday, and was wondering whether it was safe crime-wise to take I-280 and park in the Harrison parking deck, and take the PATH train into the city?
Thanks in advance
I first noticed it in the post-Sandy announcements. I am guessing Christie decided to keep going seeing how well the whole Sandy thing worked out for his popularity.
It's not really just south Jersey. It's any place where you're not commuting to NYC or Philadelphia. Also, there should be some sort of service along other parts of the RR network. Why is it that if there's something wrong with rail service on the NEC, you have to travel via Trenton, Camden, and Lak...
I even use light rail tickets purchased at Newark Broad Street for buses if I can help it (too bad you can't buy them at other TVMs). Why? At Newark Broad Street, you can buy actual bus tickets. And if you need a bus ticket elsewhere, you can buy a continuing trip ticket at outbound Newark City Sub...
I made it a policy to call them UTT's because I only ever got them from transit vending machines and I only used them in transit vending machines. I still keep a stash in my travel bag for when I need a single ride in from some airport somewhere. Well, that's you. The last time I got dollar coins a...
That doesn't help those on the M&E. They could keep it an express train and route it to Hoboken, no? Then you could change at Newark if you were going to New York (or take the PATH). Frankly, I am tired of the "if you don't commute to NYC (or to a lesser extent Philly) you don't matter"...
I see the train was moved even earlier to 5:01 and became a local. Nice job, guys, the only full reverse-peak express of the evening pulled. There used to be a 5:03 PM local and a 5:14 express departing Morristown not long ago (I think one of them went to Hoboken and one to NYC, don't remember which...
There used to be a 5:03 PM local and a 5:14 express departing Morristown not long ago (I think one of them went to Hoboken and one to NYC, don't remember which was which). Then they consolidated the 2 into 1 express to NYC, at 5:03. This means that now I can no longer leave work on time and catch th...
I can't think of anywhere in the New York metro area where an open, unstaffed station would last 24 hours. Quite a few NEC stations are like that (I don't know if they're 24/7, but I know they stay open quite late). Hamilton, for example, didn't have a ticket office at all until recently and even n...
The last time I was there, it didn't appear as if there were too many spaces for commuters to park their cars or even a connecting bus stop (though I could be wrong on the latter). The 112 bus stops at North Elizabeth with service to PABT and Clark/Scotch Plains (It also stops at Elizabeth) What is...
