What is the current status? Are all three now in service?

Thank you, MEC407. The article helped me to better understand the Tier IV landscape. In particular, I found the explanation about EMD's move to developing the 1010 instead of continuing to try to make the 710 Tier IV compliant interesting.

I like how the paint scheme has been modified from what is on MP36s. It works with the angular body.

Are there any photos posted yet of a SD70Ace T4 that supposedly has been under construction at Muncie?

Thats a shame they are getting the MP36 scheme. With their angular bodies i thought the F40 scheme would look pretty good on them. What are the lineages of these three units? The text with the photograph ( http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=4296715 ) states 526 is formerly GO Transit. Did AMT acquire the units from GO Transit or purchase them directly from GMDD? It also appears AMT has upgraded some F59s to -3...

Thank you, TrainManUPRR. Will 97-99 be upgraded before delivery? If I recall correctly, Metrolink modified at least one of their F59s with a NOx after-treatment system. Metra is not planning to use urea. Right?

What is the status on the acquisition of the three Agence Métropolitaine de Transport (AMT) F59s? What number series will be assigned to them? 300s, 500s? For what purpose is Metra acquiring the orphans? They will be the only 710-powered locomotives in the fleet. My recollection is Metra acquired an...

401 will be the next -3C. It's currently in the Rocket House and is over halfway done. Just as information- 401 was completely repainted.
