It is absurd how little has been shared (considering the PortAuthority is funded by your tolls and taxes)
Minor clarification -- the PA isn't funded by taxes, but rather by bonds backed by toll revenue (for the most part anyway)....

If you're on a NJ Transit train on the NEC and you're heading to WTC, do you transfer at Secaucus to a Hoboken train and then a PATH into WTC? Or do you just continue on to Penn, wher...

How much is a bridge over the Hudson?? A fraction of the cost of a new tunnel under the Hudson with far less tidal fill ins to think about. I beg to differ.... Forget for a minute that a bridge will never happen, but the cost of real estate acquisition alone would be astronomical. To keep it at a r...

Most (actually all that I'm familiar with) union construction working agreements include shift differential for second or third shift and as such many workers prefer these shifts. Doubt the unions would be against the 24/7 schedule. As for the weekends-it is also in most agreements that work on the...

In addition, if you look at the studies of projected daily ridership for EWR, bringing a 7-10 car PATH train through (with energy seeping low voltage 3rd rail) is incredibly wasteful. To use funds from PFC's, the FAA has to approve the project and depending on what parts they approve, the project m...
