Thanks all, that explains both ends. Not sure why they can't add an additional non can car to help with the overcrowding :/. They would of they had one available. There are/were more than 20 cabs out for PTC installation at one time. There are not 20 roadworthy cars sitting in the yards ready to go...

Not sure or any of you take M&E line to Hoboken, but it seems the 601 train from hoboken has an engine on each side of the train, and one less train car. Anyone know why they are doing this? It is resulting in overcrowding. I also thought in Hoboken they didn't have the diesals facing the statio...

I was walking by track 5 right before this accident occured... The tracks were filled with water due to high tide and quite strong winds. I am wondering if the water had anything to do with it. That's kind of interesting. I've never actually been to Hoboken station, but ride NJT pretty regularly an...

I was walking by track 5 right before this accident occured... The tracks were filled with water due to high tide and quite strong winds. I am wondering if the water had anything to do with it. Also, does anyone know if njtransit will be providing monthly pass refunds, as my pass is next to useless ...

What is the medium salary of engineers/conductors? I was seeing some crazy figure showing six figures for conductors, but I doubt that's correct

So whats going to happen to those of us that have monthly passes, if a strike were to happen? I live in morristown and take train to commute to hoboken, pretty sure my monthly pass is going to be useless during a strike, as no buses will be going anywhere near hoboken.
