This is the most NJT ever to happen, NO SURPRISE AT ALL. Once again epic failures from the top down... I mean really service levels are nowhere near 100% they should've been operating on a modified schedule to begin with, it's not like this was some summer afternoon severe thunderstorm they had DAYS...

What's the connection like to FLL? Any public transit? For now, Tri Rail (in the west side of the airport) and requiring a free shuttle bus is a better connection. If you're going to Downtown Miami, you'd then connect to the Metro at either the Tri Rail station (Green Line)or MIA station (Orange) t...

I didn't vote for the man but he is the president to be for crying out loud. "I wonder if they'll go at night? It'd minimize disruption to scheduled services. Are any trains even running on the NEC overnight right now?" "Hopefully midday, when traffic for MARC is light." Are you ...

Any idea as on when the Liberty will go into service in 2021? Also what's going on with the NJ HSR 160MPH project Amtrak's project website claims it's finished but I haven't heard a peep about the Acela 1s attaining these speeds in-service... The Acela 1s are not certified for speeds faster than 15...

Without stopping NYP-Dover. It's 1 Hr. 5 MIN via Boonton Line and 1 Hour 2 Min. via the M+E so it's really not the end of the world to run via the Boonton. From there it's about 85 track miles to Scranton if you can keep it to 55mph running time West of Dover 2 hr. 30 min ride is feasible. Consideri...

It has served its purpose, even if the Secaucus Loop was created tomorrow. 17 years of moving North Jersey faster into Midtown Manhattan, and plenty of new found reverse commuting . Millions upon millions of minutes saved, well worth the cost. They could've made it into so much more but if people re...

Sussex County is a nice county to live and visit. It's been a little while since I have been there. I'm sure that the residents who live in Newton as well as some of the surrounding towns will drive to Andover to get the train. When this service begins to Andover, we hope that the trains that serve...

There are ways that you can find out what a train consist and engineers daily schedule are online. From duty time on to the exact consist that is going to be run.

They are posted but it's on you to find it, I don't need any cranky NJT employees angry at exposing their non secured website.
