Being from the Andover area, I know that there would be quite a few people that would drop 80 in a heartbeat. Possibly dumping bus service too. Those that have to commute via 15 to get the train in Dover would also appreciate the service here too as RT15 is horrible. Just my two cents as they say. Ken

After seeing the line I would say yes but I'm not 100% sure. I don't see how it can be avoided.

I stopped by today but forgot the camera so the only pics I have come from iPhone. The location is Brooklyn Stanhope Road.

I will be going back on Sunday to take pics with a real camera and to explore it.

Ken, Yeah, it was great thanks! I just hope the NS doesn't formally abandon the Orange Branch, and lower Boonton line since there are no longer any customers left!! It would be impossible to bring it back once the rails are lifted! :-( Steve, I'm with you. Once it's gone, it's gone. Someone says th...

This is/was the Erie's Orange Branch. It branched off the NY&GL in the Forrest Lake section of Newark and it's western terminus was located in West Orange, NJ. The last passenger service was in 1955.
