When did freight service on trolley lines end?
I've seen Park Street in Somerville sometimes backed up to the tracks and beyond, going northbound. I used to live a few blocks from there, and still live in Somerville, and I disagree that this is not a busy street. It's less busy than Route 60 in Medford, but it has plenty of traffic, including MB...
I do remember the 'Fenway' station formerly being called 'Fenway Park' on both printed maps and on the station signs.
they have a train waiting at Yawkey station, providing Worcester line service which leaves 10 minutes after the game ends. I did not know about this -- it is not mentioned in ANY printed schedule I've seen during the past few years. Are you sure the T still does it? And are these special trains, or...

True. However, this line was electric under Illinois C...
I was on a Fitchburg train a few years ago that used one of these long-discontinued stops to transfer people to a shuttle bus to get around some track construction.
I don't see any reason to put pedestrian bridges back into Leverett Circle. The crosswalks are just fine, similar to Charles Circle which doesn't miss its pedestrian bridges at all.
Can you locate this on a Google map and link to it? I'm not quite sure what you are referring to.
To answer a question asked elsewhere: the ceremony will be on the Cambridge end of the bridge.
I just got an official e-mail from DCR saying that the ribbon-cutting will be this Friday, July 13 at 2 pm (not noon).
