I'd like to see this designation move down the line to Doylestown.
Riding July 2.
No DGV, no autoracks went with the passenger cars. Watched the train go thru Folkston, GA
I don't think it is recommended. Not sure if it is open prior to scheduled departure.
A well done interview.
I enjoyed the travel log. Small correction, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is on the Schuylkill River, not the Delaware.

This is a very good idea given the construction coming in the near future and its impact on current parking. This an additional station, not a replacement for Lansdale.
Very Good. I have been here a few times and played along in Train Dispatcher.
The difficulty for your friend would be getting from baggage claim to rail side. I am not familiar with overseas arrivals and the locations for Customs. It used to be that int'l flights arrived at a separate building away from the SEPTA line. If they use the normal baggage claim area at any of A-E t...
According to SPV's Comprehensive Atlas the tracks are gone south of Red Level Jct. So just coal trains to the power plant north of town.

My father joined the FI and we were frequent visitors in the 60s. Rode back and forth many a time. I think I was last at the Institute in t...
Would like to find information on the move from Eddystone to the Franklin Institute.
50 years ago this was the time of year we would take a family trip on a Saturday to the Terminal then to Wanamaker's. It was so easy to park at New Britain. I guess with the malls moving out into the outer reaches of exurbia no one does that anymore.
Which is why it is called the Doylestown Branch.
The former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia rode the first train inbound from Doylestown every morning! And so did many others.
Sorry, grew up in New Britain.
