I had heard that a huge museum "complex" (if you will) is underway, in Phillipsburg, NJ...the main focus of which will be NJ's RRs. Does anyone have any news on this...whether or not it's completed or how soon ???

sorry for the side thread...but... John Warrick made three or four documentaries in the late 80's on historic nj railways. I've watched the ones he made on the CRRofNJ's Southern Division & the PRR's Atlantic Division...&...they are actually quite good...w/ the author being very knowledgeabl...

folks... I realize this is an old thread...but (at least for CarterB), I found the section south of Pemberton-Browns Mills Rd., where it runs through Fenwick's Glen...the trestle remnants at the Rancocas (also mentioned in Beck's 2nd book)...& the grade/ROW of the Western wye curving toward New...

Ken... Thanks much. Are you familiar w/ such units...from a technical perspective ? If so...I'm wondering how precise they are...based on cost differences. For example, a Magellan Triton 200 is $129. It has the WAAS system you spoke of, which is accuracy to 3 meters. A Garmin eTrex legend H is $149...

Ed & Chris... Thanks. Yeah...I returned the following day & hiked for 3 miles eastbound of the tunnel...& Google has the railbed location incorrectly placed on that side as well, for approximately 2 miles. For some reason, their displayed track-line pulls off the actual line about 2-1/2...
