Watch the union force WMATA to reinstate them lol

Metro is saying the 7K train derailed bc of debris that broke off from a 3K train that passed before it "Metro GM says the object on the track appears to be a breaking component from a 3000 series train that preceded the train that derailed." https://twitter.com/paulcwagner/status/17078250...

Loudoun county green lit a bunch of datacenters around the Loudoun Gateway station IIRC. The thought here is that IT workers flying in can take metro to get to their cages without having to rent a car or something like that. A little far fetched IMO and not the best use of space but it is what it is...

I still dont understand why Loudoun Gateway and Spring Hill stations were necessary to build, would have been better off with a Wolf Trap station instead of those 2

cant wait until someone hacks the railcars and does god knows what to em

Took the inaugural train and some observations: Metro didnt make enough pennants. They were pretty much gone by 2:30ish when the 2nd train to Ashburn pulled thru. Metro tried to put stickers on the platforms for those trying to go to IAD but theyre all peeling off already, lol Trains were going rath...

WMSC has approved the safety certification of silver line phase 2, we are a full go on 11/15
