Anything more known on reason for the flatcar/demolition debris car moves. If they needed a flatcar in Stockbridge, Pittsfield would have been a shorter trip. This all seems very mysterious

Years ago (I was a young kid so this was either PC or very tail end of NH days) I remember traffic lights hanging over the Rt. 52 crossing. - Also I remember reading after Housatonic took over they went into IBM once or twice for loads of recycled paper.

I know CP/D&H quit running these trains but did they give up the trackage rights ? If the rights are still active with the D&H sale to NS, what are the chances of NS running these trains again ?

I ride by O&G plant on Seagar street a couple times a week and haven't noticed any out of ordinary.

I don't think the 311 bridge got raised, DOT signs still say 10' 9" clearance. And it caught another tractor trailer about 2 weeks ago.
