I believe he did get convicted, although I don't know if he served jail time or not... Honestly it's one thing I just stopped keeping track of.

If memory serves most of the problems are electrical in nature with the current fleet, they just all hit them in the space of a month... Traction motors, wiring glitches, etc. Not impossible to fix, but a massive headache when six units need them...

HI all Managed to catch the G&U a little Friday. Curious, any update on the power situation? GMTX #326 was working in Upton and I am curious now as to what power is usable these days. http://rrpicturearchives.net/pictures/20990/9.1.17.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;...

Like there was any doubt... All they did was throw crap to see what stuck. These guys might be entertaining if they weren't so obviously annoying.

At least the parts are all still there... They could've been scattered to the wind as opposed to being put in storage containers. Does it suck that it's going to end up static, at least for the foreseeable future? Yes, yes it does. But it's still with us, and it will at least be view-able by the pub...

I'd argue that overall it seems promising. The FY group obviously knows that they screwed up aspects of the project. But now we're seeing an admittance of where they went wrong. For a group in general to come to that consensus is a good thing, only because they don't keep their heads in the sand and...

Does HRRC even have the freight traffic left to justify investment a Danbury-Pittsfield route anymore? -otto- Going back to a report from 2011, HRRC handled an average of 6000 cars per year... No clue what it is these days. With that in mind, I'll leave the link to the report here; https://westcog....

Looks like the G&U offered a reply to the petitioners in the pellet case... As per usual their reply has taken the petitioners argument, crumpled it up and tossed it in the trash; https://www.stb.gov/filings/all.nsf/ba7f93537688b8e5852573210004b318/75c2ec1f8b2dac07852580de007661fa?OpenDocument&q...
