The vocabulary part will be words that are most synonymous, such as 'practical' being most synonymous to 'practicable' since the latter word is used a lot within the operating rule book. I like the new safety green color on the site... I could imagine the yard crew in Richmond Hill all wearing that one! Good thinking with the new safety colors. I just picked up one in every color. Any more MU shirts though? It's been sold out since about 2 weeks ago.

Guys, I know the guy that designs the shirts and runs that website from work. I just pre ordered the entire selection of shirts and he told me the diesel shirts are shipping this week and the MU stuff later on this month. ajp,

You'd be lucky to find a handful of people left on the roster who know where the brake pipe is on your private car. Good luck with your endeavour.

The term wayside signals largely refers to the signals between interlockings which exist on main track, not the signals of an interlocking. The one at Amityville is part of an interlocking and is used to protect the pocket on #1 track so that westbound traffic can be brought up against a train turni...

That plywood that you mentioned was left over from a few weeks back when they did the concrete tie replacement. It was a barrier so the ballast wouldn't spray down onto street level as it was spread.

Pack #616 went to New York & Greenwood Lake Railway and resides in Passaic, NJ at NYGL headquarters. It was purchased by them with plans to use it on a dinner train, but the idea never took off.

It was circa 2006-2007 at the Clark show and you were peddling your books. You also had a GP38 bell and a number board for sale, "268" to be exact. I wanted to see if I could purchase the number board without the bell, but you got arrogant with me and ended up telling me I had to buy both,...

If this were for any other historian, I think I would help, but I'll pass. Mr. Morrison was unnecessarily rude and arrogant to me at the Clark, NJ train show a few years back when I asked him about purchasing something for sale at his table.
