Thanks, but there several items in the film that indicate the film was done at a later time. One of them being a quick view the United Nations Building , which was built in 1950.

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have been on the NYC forum. Does anyone know what the year the New York Central' s promotional film "New York Calling" was produced? There seems to some confusion on YouTube concerning this. Thanks.

I second that. I've searched for long time and never come up with any pictures of Casanova Station, only the old estate house from which the street and station were named.

What were the named New Haven trains that went to Florida and the South? Which car types would venture into the southern states? I’m assuming the New Haven cars would connect with either the RF&P or Southern at Washington’s Union Station.

Here pictured is a New York Central Railroad RS-3 (early 1960’s) on the Pennsylvania’s Passaic & Harsimus Cove Line. Where did the NYC connect with this line and what was the purpose for this connection? The third rails to the right provided power to the adjacent Hudson & Manhattan (PATH).
