One thing I can't understand is, How could FLRR invest in this rail line without an audit of each business being served.
Knowing this information would/may have indicated a problem with Dragon Cement.

Stopped by to see the 1701 today. The switch from the secondary is difficult to see with all the overgrowth covering it and the rails. 1701 is sitting in her nest. Things are not looking good for this spur. I'm afraid this line may become a rail trail in the next year.
Any updates on the rail trail?
Stopped by to visit the 1701. The vegetation on the row is blooming nicely. All is swell on the Millis front.
Stopped by to visit the 1701 a few days ago. Resting comfortably in her nest, looking for work. The vegetation is starting to take over the row. looks like its going to be a long Summer. Of note, there are stacks of rail and ties stagged by the Millis switch. As in the past, could be something, coul...
But did he ever return, no he never returned, and his fate is still un-learned .......
Stopped by to visit the 1701 today. She is shivering in her nest looking for work. The good news is the frost has killed off a lot of the growth on the spur but will still require some cleaning. I believe it was last reported delivery on Jan. 6th. Hopefully Tresca will require 10+ cars to cover thei...
This is the same argument from the wealthy towns of Weston and Dover. They do not want "Those types of people in Their town". So much so that Medfield built their rail trail on the Millis to Needham ROW and it deadheads in the woods on the Dover town line. Needham built theirs from the Cha...
Rockland forum reporting 30* cars leaving Dragon since late September. Wondering if any will be dropped off at Medfield/Millis spur for Tresca.
Stopped by to visit the 1701 today. Island Rd. void of any cars. The 1701 resting in her nest looking for work. The spur is waist high in under growth.
A sad sight from what it was 2 years ago.

Good to see the 1701 back to work.
Thanks for the video NHV 669
Stopped by to visit the 1701 today. 1701 resting in her nest looking for work. The spur has 2 to 3 feet high weed growth.
Nothing happening... wondering if Tresca is trucking their cement in from the G&U's Hopedale FlyAsh/Cement facility.
Stopped by to visit the 1701 today. No cars at Island Rd. but the spur looks like it has been recently cleared of spring growth. Rail and a couple of bundles of ties remain at the switch on the Framingham secondary. Maybe something, maybe nothing.
Stopped by to visit the 1701 today.
The cement cars stagged at Medfield Jct. are gone.
Island Road is empty of cars.
1701 is looking for work.
