Oh, there's plenty of time for that. After all, the imminent project (circa 2011) is quite stillborn. We know the cards in our hand. You can think "probably" at your peril. You can think "hot air" at your own risk. Truly, we have produced far more documentation than NBRR or DB. N...

Incorrect. We in EB don't have to go to the STB, while the NBRR would and there have been no filings. There is no preemption, as the line was abandoned legally through ICC in 1972, NBRR is at best a landowner, and NOT a RR. Totally different scenario than G&U as that line was not legally abando...

Back in the news again.... http://www.telegram.com/article/20150824/NEWS/150829585" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Here we go again. I may be wrong but I think that technically East Brookfield's only recourse is to the STB and they would face a really tough sell. Incorrect....

It may come as a surprise to you but the vast majority of people who care about this do not visit this site. Make your own conclusions. In the end, your assessment of opposition is meaningless. All that matters is what we (yes WE) do when the time comes, if it does. I know our enemies see this site ...

We have extensively spoken with the STB, MA DEP, and attorneys, so yes, we know that of which we speak and we have documentation. If you want speculation, go to Chabot and Bigda. They promised a line running by summer. This is not a private enterprise - this is the NBBOS acting like a RR when they h...

Looking back, while I believe the railroad will still go in, would anyone agree in saying the three month timeline was a bit optimistic? I've heard from some friends who live near the roadbed, and they mentioned something was going on with the bridge on the northern end of the line. Beyond that, I ...

The link is easy to get to and it is not libel to state public information - wish I could figure out the way to post the link but this may enlighten. http://74.8.243.132/malr/controller (cut and paste into browser - this is the Mass Secretary of State website for land records). Search Bigda. Under B...

The previous poster is correct - there is indeed disagreement, because the NBRR folks are playing loose with the truth. This is verifiable through public website information. The section cited is a quote in the Worcester Telegram from Selectman Chabot, who claims that they have filed with the STB. S...

Latest news on the North Brookfield RR's plans. IMHO, they have a long, long way to go before they are fully operational. Not counting the NIMBY faction in East Brookfield.... http://www.telegram.com/article/20120425/NEWS/104259995/1101/local I don't see the NIMBYs being a problem. There's enough p...
