"Respect The Train" stuff should stop. Keep away. You are trespassing. Results are fine, jail, injury or death. Stop being meek and mild to wrongdoers.

Read and learn. Plenty of books, journals, reports, news articles. The money was there for years, but it went to waste and in many pockets. I blame with USDOT for forcing unreal mandates for minority hiring, diversity, MBE, WBE, DBE, affirmative action and the administration, thereof. There will be ...

As the traffic gets worse, people complain but it takes a generation of this to allow for rail to return...

Why cant train operators bring trains to a smooth stop? why is it that the hit the ends of platforms at track speed and then slam on the brakes 50ft before the end of the platform?? is this what they are trained to do or is it just laziness? What a waste of time it is to brake smoothly in the subwa...

As Ralph Kramden would say, "THEY HAVE THE GALL...!" to raise the fare. For what? For lousy service. In the good times we paid .30 for a 19 minute ride to Nwk.-a fast 19 min. Now it is a 22 minute ordeal. In those days, you saw the value of the dollar and the service. Now...? I tell you. ...

(everyone knows we are the LAST ones to know ANYTHING when all hell breaks loose) Actually, I think many people do not know that, and get all annoyed when the conductor doesn't give them any information. People today are very lonely and want someone to talk to them. They are lonely and have no one ...

He meant well, but he opened the carrier, the State of NY and himself to possible liability. God forbid, if harm arose, he would be sued and no one would cover him. He promised a train that he could not deliver.

Get a flight bag or a large brief case, like the old-timers. Back packs are fashionable and for Scouts. The weight of that pack on your back can sway and throw you off balance. Just bring what the job requires, plus something simple to eat or drink. You can always pack you Bible with your rule book...

This is a high profile dismissal - even though quite just. However in all likelihood, the ATU will progress the case through appeal first 'on the property', then off to an arbitration panel. I'm sure it will go through the appropriate process ... if the union does not help there are enough ambulanc...
